Coffee trade news, read for buyers.

The coffee trade moves on regulation, supply and logistics. This desk follows the sources below and publishes what matters to importers, roasters and exporters in the Origin Ledger, written by us and checked by a person before it appears. We do not post anything automatically, and we do not invent figures.

How an entry is made.

Source first
An entry names its source and links it. Where two sources disagree, we print both numbers.
Checked by a person
A draft is not published until a person has read it against the source.
Dated
Every entry shows when it was published and, if changed, when it was updated.
Honest about gaps
If we have not verified something, the entry says so instead of filling it in.
