Who we are
Kaffa Bridge is a trading name of Marathon 360 Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom and incorporated in 2025. Marathon 360 Ltd is the data controller for personal data handled through this website. You can reach us about anything in this policy at coffee@kaffabridge.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
The enquiry form. When you send the form, what you typed (your name, email address, company, market, the option you chose and your brief) goes to our server, which runs on Cloudflare, and is recorded in our customer relationship system, provided by LeadConnector, a service of HighLevel Inc. That is so we can reply and keep the conversation in one place. If the form cannot reach our server, the page offers to open an email in your own mail client instead, and in that case nothing is sent until you send that email yourself.
Email you send us. When you write to us, we hold your message and contact details so we can reply and follow up on your enquiry. That is business correspondence: names, email addresses, company details and whatever you chose to tell us about what you are looking for.
Live chat. Every page loads a chat widget provided by LeadConnector, a service of HighLevel Inc., which handles the conversation on our behalf. It sets its own cookies to do that, on every visit, whether or not you use it.
The booking scheduler. If you book a discovery call, the scheduler collects the details you enter (typically your name, email address and chosen time). The scheduler is provided by LeadConnector, a service of HighLevel Inc., which processes those details on our behalf. It loads only when you choose to open it.
We do not collect special category data, and this site is not directed at children.
Third-party services this site uses
LeadConnector provides three of these. Unsplash provides the photographs.
- LeadConnector (HighLevel Inc.), customer relationship system. Receives what you send through the enquiry form, via our server, so we can reply.
- LeadConnector (HighLevel Inc.), booking scheduler. It does not load, and receives nothing, until you choose to open it.
- Unsplash, photographs. Photographs on this site are loaded from Unsplash's image servers (images.unsplash.com), so your browser contacts them, and they receive your IP address and browser details, when a page with photographs loads. Photography credit: Unsplash and its contributors.
- LeadConnector (HighLevel Inc.), live chat. Loads on every page and sets its own cookie, whether or not you use it.
Our server, which receives the form, runs on Cloudflare in the course of serving this site. Everything else this site needs, apart from the photographs, is served from our own domain. Typefaces, styles and scripts are hosted here rather than fetched from Google Fonts or a content delivery network, so loading a page does not hand your IP address to anyone else. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
Cookies
Your language choice. If your browser is set to a language we publish, the site offers you that version once. If you dismiss that offer, we store a single value in your browser's local storage so it does not ask again. It never leaves your device, it holds nothing about you, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Apart from that, this site sets no cookies of its own. If you open the booking scheduler, LeadConnector may set its own cookies to make that work; that only happens after you choose to open it. The chat widget sets its own cookie on every visit, whether or not you use it, because it loads automatically. We set no cookies of our own.
Legal bases
Under UK GDPR, we rely on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries and correspond with the companies who contact us, and on performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before one) where an enquiry becomes an engagement.
International transfers
We work between the United Kingdom and Ethiopia, so correspondence may be read and answered by our team in either place. Where personal data leaves the UK we protect it with appropriate safeguards, and we keep what is transferred to the minimum the correspondence needs.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to it. Records connected to an actual transaction are kept for the periods UK company and tax law requires. We delete what we no longer need.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Write to coffee@kaffabridge.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with an updated date at the top. We do not water down protections quietly.
